Airikai
Airikai is a health & fitness website with plenty of sub-domains for various forms of the art. All the pages share a similar theme which showcases a video and photo gallery in a very modern layout. The main page has a large open feeling to it which reflects the company’s philosophy.
Airikai is a modern martial art with roots branching from multiple arts and philosophies. Developed by Sensei, Matt Hackney, Airikai is derived from “ai” meaning Love, Harmony, Flow, and the like and “rikai” meaning Understanding, Comprehension, Patience, Wisdom, and Appreciation.
We interpret this to mean Ai (Harmony) and Rikai (Appreciation) so that our students understand and appreciate the harmony of life. While we use Airikai for self defense and combat, the practice shall be followed in all areas of life if one is to truly master the art.
The website has many subdomains attached to it with various forms of Airikai which all use the same theme and flow well together. The site is basic in appearance with a full screen layout, yet it is adaptable to different resolutions and even works well on mobile devices.
