Here are a few of the philosophies we have in business that make us unique and show the benefit of an internship with HardMagic.
We believe in teamwork – every person on staff is equally important and we act as peers of each other to get projects accomplished. Nobody has just one title in our staff.
Progression not perfection – as long as each person is progressing in their work, we are happy. We constantly teach our staff new techniques to improve their performance and feel longevity is more important than quick results.
Work at your own pace – We don’t believe in 9-5 work weeks. Who wants to be locked in to a schedule of when they HAVE to work? If you want to work at midnight, go for it. If you want to take next Monday off – go for it! No need to even notify management. We manage projects, not employees. As long as projects are accomplished, then who cares how you managed it? This flexibility really makes our employees feel like they are their own boss.
Better to Barter – We save money with a great barter network that allows us to utilize resources in ways most businesses would neglect. We also have our interns work with companies and barter goods which allows the intern to learn new skills and keep our overhead low.
