Raul Rosales is the founder and owner of Moonlight Maintenance. It is a locally owned and operated business in Santa Barbara, California. The Company is an offspring of and was formulated after his father’s janitorial/maintenance business that he started in Santa Barbara in 1965. Raul and his brother joined his company in 1985. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, their father retired from his business in 1995, leaving the business to his sons. Being able to utilize his business experience and educational degree with his janitorial expertise, Raul was able to build a business focusing on client satisfaction and employee development.
While working with his father in his business, Raul had the good fortune to learn many important business ethics he strives to incorporate into the business and his personal life today: honesty; to always walk away from jobs with pride in his work; that his word is worth more than gold; that a person’s handshake is just as binding as a contract; that the client is always right; and most importantly, to live with integrity through his actions and words every day. Moonlight Maintenance has built a solid foundation with these principles.
We at Moonlight Maintenance understand the importance of your trust in allowing our company and our staff to work in your office after hours. That is why we take particular care in the hiring of our staff to provide honest workers in sensitive work environments. We use a systematic approach to staffing our crew. We screen and hire our own employees. We run background checks on each of them. Our janitorial staff is sharp, competent and have had both video training and continuous on-the-job training while employed with Moonlight Maintenance. All of our employees are insured and bonded.
It is important to us at Moonlight Maintenance that we provide a safe and respectful environment in which our employees work. We look for characteristics of quality when hiring our employees, just as we expect quality work from them. Quality Control is our passion at Moonlight Maintenance. We have incorporated a Quality Control program that includes regular nighttime written inspections; quarterly client feedbacks; quality rating questionnaires from our clients; daytime personal visits to ensure the client’s satisfaction with our cleaning crew and the quality of our work. We found that having this as our top priority has provided continuous consistency through loyalty from our clients and resulted in maintaining a low turn-over rate of less than 3%.
